Everyone is welcome to all programs at the Siddha Yoga Mediation Center in Miami.  On rare occasions, there are courses and retreats with specific prerequisites.  Below are programs best suited for first-time visitors.

Weekly Evening Satsangs
Satsang means to be in the company of seekers of the truth. Our Wednesday and Saturday evening satsang programs take place every week (with some exceptions due to special events - check the calendar regularly) from 7:30 until 9:00 p.m., and are free of charge. They include meditation with instruction, chanting, and often a sharing of someone’s experience, a video or audio talk by Gurumayi Chidvilasananda or Baba Muktananda, or a reading of their words.

Practices Night
On Wednesday evenings we hold a practices program perfect for newcomers.  There is a short introduction and welcome and most of the evening is spent chanting the name of God, sometimes with a CD/video of Gurumayi and sometimes live with our local Siddha Yoga musicians and chanters.  The other half of the evening offers meditation instruction and an opportunity to still the mind and be with one’s own heart through a 15-20 minute meditation.  The program runs from 7:30-9:00 p.m. each Wednesday.

Siddha Yoga Meditation Intensives
Within every heart lives a longing to experience one’s own true nature, one’s divine inner power. This power, which lies dormant, is awakened through Shaktipat, spiritual initiation.

Gurumayi Chidvilasananda is a spiritual teacher and Siddha Yoga Master, one who is able to bestow Shaktipat. Through her will, Gurumayi makes this precious inner awakening available in the Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive.

The Intensive provides the ideal environment for initiation: a balance of instruction and practice offered in an atmosphere of spiritual sanctuary.  For those Siddha Yogis already embarked on the path, it is also the ideal environment for one to deepen and accelerate one’s spiritual work.
